As someone who has built sunscreen into her everyday beauty routine, there are three boxes that it must check off. First, it has to have an SPF that actually protects my skin. I try to pick products that have an SPF of at least 30. Secondly, the product has to wear well alone since I do not wear makeup on a daiily basis as well as under makeup. Lastly, it has to feel comfortable on my skin — with zero white/grey cast and greasy residue.
Today, I’ll be reviewing the Cosrx Advance Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. So I challenged myself to 30 days of blogging! Whew… Honestly, if you had told me that I would be rubbing snail goo on my face in 2020, in the name of skincare courtesy K-beauty. I would most certainly have laughed you out of the room. ‘Snails are for eating; spicy hot with lots of pepper and some wine! But alas, here we are.
The Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 30 is the answer to every black girl’s dream. I hope we are all in the know that sunscreen is something we all should be using daily? If you are a woman of color that can be a daunting task since most sunscreen leave a greyish/white cast on the skin. Not to mention most sunscreen is very thick and hard to rub into the skin, try putting that on your face under makeup; that white grayish cast affects the color of your foundation and even how it blends into the skin.
