Hey Beauty Familia,

How has it been? Today I have partnered with a Kenah Cosmetics ( a new Nigerian brand) to introduce their lip stains. They consist of  10 shades ranging from flesh toned nudes to hot fire oranges and red!kenah

I was lucky enough to try out two distinctive shade of Kenah Cosmetics lips tains so I could give a fair enough review, because not all shades apply and wear evenly, sometimes the nudes are great and bright colors are streaky and vice versa. I am reviewing two shades; Cosmo (14) a neon ish orange and Paloma (19) a flesh toned nude. Right out the packaging I was like Hell no! how would these shades look on me, they look so not brown girl friendly, but I was wrong! Totally wrong!

First off, I love the exterior carton packaging, it has a little peek-a-boo situation where you can see the color of the lip stain inside. The lip stain itself comes with a rectangular shaped glass bottle with a matte black cap and a standard doe foot applicator! Applying these lip stains, all though I had to use a brown lip liner to define my lips (which I am not mad at) they actually dry down a tad bit darker than they swatch initially, which makes them perfect for all skin tones. They also take a while to dry down to completely matte and transfer proof which I like so you can play and work around it.

They are actually the lightest matte lip texture I have tried (no jokes), I kept checking my lips all day because I couldn’t feel anything on them but they were intact and they smell divine, a little stronger than normal (a mix of bubblegum and vanilla). Another major plus, they come off pretty fast and do not color stain your lips like most matte lip stain do. Hellurr Kenah Cosmetics, what magic?
