Hey guys! I’m back with another product review. If you haven’t already heard about The Ordinary brand, they are the best beauty brand I’ve discovered this year and they are quite affordable as well. Their skin care range is so vast even though most of them are so ‘sci-fi’ but they do work. I am in love with their primer which I reviewed here
The Ordinary foundation comes in dinky, plastic 30ml bottles. They aren’t luxe glass packaging, but still very cool-looking and extremely travel friendly as the pump can be locked to prevent spillage. The first thing I noticed on using it was the consistency. It is quite watery, a little more than my other foundations. The foundation claims to be full coverage but its actually medium but very buildable. It is also light weight, I kept looking at my face in the mirror all day because I couldn’t feel anything but it was there. I wore it quite a couple of times out this past week and didn’t have to touch up at all for 9 hours.
I puchased the shade 3.3N which is the darkest shade from the range but it balances well with my skin tone and by the time I have highlighted and contoured, it all comes out fine together.
Here’s a simple routine using the foundation
